In Maths, the learners have been learning to add or subtract tens and ones and find the missing tens and ones. We’ve been learning about place value where numbers sit in two digit numbers and how many tens and ones there are in numbers. To start with, we used ice block sticks (materials) to help us with solving number problems. Yuri has been learning to solve number problems with missing tens and ones. She is capable to solve these problems by using his basic facts knowledge to 10. Yuri is being collaborative when sharing his ideas and explaining her answers with other learners around her.
